42,000 lumens is a lot of light, so it's understandable that you would be skeptical of a single 4' high bay linear light being able to provide that much illumination. However, it is possible for a high bay light to be that bright, especially if it uses LEDs. LEDs are very efficient at converting electricity into light, so they can produce a lot of lumens for a relatively small amount of power.
