I live in a saltwater environment..where aluminum body frames fall apart after a few years. Does Hyperlight have a body made of some substance like Bakelite or equal that will withstand this tough environment?.I think there is a market for a tough saltwater protected housing seeings so much of the USA coast is sarrounded with the ocean.

Hi. Hyperlite makes lightweight and durable tents and canopies that are suitable for outdoor use, including marine environments. However, they do not have enclosures made of materials such as bakelite or similar. One material that may be suitable to protect the hull from salt water is coated aluminum, such as anodized aluminum. This coating forms on the surface of the aluminum, giving it protection from corrosion and damage. In addition, there are hulls made of other materials such as fiberglass, which also have good durability and can be used in marine environments.
