here a temp can get to -20F before the heat is turned on, so how many high bay light for a 34×40 shop with 14ft side walls.

Our Hyperlite LED High Bay Lights Black Hero Series can work in cold temperatures as low as -40F. For 14' ceilings, we recommend 150w. According to the lighting simulation we made you would need  8pcs HERO Series 150w (4000K or 5000K according to your preference)

For a workshop, aim for about 50-100 lumens per sq ft. Let's use 75 lumens as a median.
